Children from all over gather at Grace Bible Church to participate in our
AWANA program. During the evening, children get a
chance to learn from the Bible, play games, and have a great
time growing in their faith.
What is AWANA Club?
AWANA is our fantastic mid-week ministry committed to reach children and youth with the Gospel and train them to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.
"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
AWANA blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization, and tons of fun. Our AWANA Club ministry impacts kids ages 2 to 18, their families, and our entire community while helping our church instruct parents, train volunteers, and make our children's ministry all that God intends it to be!
Why AWANA?
Bible memory and sound doctrine build a Biblical worldview in the hearts and minds of our children. We use AWANA to achieve this goal, since AWANA Clubs provide a fun, dynamic approach to learning God’s Word!
